Brazil, Uruguay Set Up Railroad to Link Countries

The Brazilian president revealed that the 2 idea is to complete two sections of railway that will link the two countries came up 4 months ago, during the Summit of the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR), when the 2 leaders decided to step up their nations' strategic alliances. This is Mujica's 2nd visit to Brazil in 2012. The 1st trip took place in January, when he chose Brazil for a vacation & took advantage of his stay to visit ex-president & personal friend Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who was receiving treatment for a larynx tumor.
