(HN, 4/25/12) - WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's new interview show will begin airing on RT tomorrow. The channel is Russian government-funded but says it "shapes its editorial policy free from political & commercial influence. Our dedicated team of news professionals unites young talent & household names in the world of broadcast journalism to bring you another story." Assange, in an interview published on RT online today said his 1st guest will be so controversial it will lead to calls to "shut the show down". A well produced promo for the show has been running this weekend starting with the words - "For 500 days now, I've been detained without charge, but that hasn't stopped us. Today we are on a quest for revolutionary ideas that can change the world tomorrow." Assange has said the show, which will be broadcast in English, Arabic, & Spanish, will give a voice to those "who normally simply would not be given a voice on TV at all."
